Frequently Asked Questions

Are you fully insured?

Yes, we are fully insured and can provide copies upon request.

What is the maximum height you can reach?

We can work on buildings of any height, however all buildings are different so we’d need to assess each property individually.

Will you clean up your mess?

We understand our customers love their homes, so we take care to keep your grounds as neat as we find them. When the job is complete, we gather any debris and remove it from the site.

Can you install gutter guards?

Yes, at competitive prices.

Before we give anyone a quote, however, we like to inspect the particular site to make sure that the gutter guard is the best product for your property.

Please see our gutter mesh or leaf guard page ‘pros and cons’ list.

If a gutter guard is not suited to your roof, we will advise you on the best solution.

Do I need to be home?

We are happy to meet you at home if you prefer, but many of our customers request we visit their site and leave a written quote for their approval. Alternatively, we can call you from the site to discuss the job or simply to gain your approval and begin work immediately. You will receive a discount for approving the quote on the spot.

After a quote is given, how long will it be before the job is completed?

Our tradesmen come to the site ready and equipped to work, so once you are happy and approve the quote, they can begin work.

Can you give me an exact quote over the phone?

Since every job is so different, we can instead give you an estimate based on properties of a similar size, height and accessibility.

So, for an accurate quote, we’ll need to visit the site.

What payment methods do you offer?

We accept:

What exactly will you do up there?

We need to get your roof and gutters working properly, so this means removing debris that has built up on the roof, in the gutters and valleys. This also means clearing any blocked downpipes to ground level.

To keep you informed, we take care to inspect the condition of the cleaned roof and gutters and report this to you.

Why are clean gutters important?

One of the most common causes of roof leaks is blocked gutters and downpipes. Like the veins carrying blood through the body, your roof and gutters must be kept clean to prevent blockages.

Keeping them clean also prolongs their life, preventing rust. A gutter or downpipe that is blocked is carrying many Kilos of weight in water and debris. This often causes sagging and damage to the brackets and joints.

In heavy rain, blocked gutters will overflow, causing water to splash around the building. This water can be a major problem, causing erosion, allowing the building’s foundations to ‘sink’, or attracting termites.

Your roof is a valuable asset; keeping it clean makes sense and is as important as having insurance.
